Introduction to Noida International University

Noida International University (NIU) was established in 2010 and occupies a 75-acre campus in India founded by U.P. Legislature Act No. 27 of 2010 under the UGC ACT, 1956. The four schools of the university—the School of Engineering & Technology, the School of Management, the School of Economics & Commerce, and the School of Law—all run mentor-mentee programs.

The University Grants Commission, Council of Architecture, Indian Association of Physiotherapists, Indian Nursing Council, National Medical Commission, Bar Council of India, National Council for Teacher Education, Institution’s Innovation Councils, and Association of India (AIU) are the organizations that recognized the university.

Admission & Scholarship

Candidates are chosen by the admissions committee on the basis of their performance on entrance exams and interviews. NSAT provides technical programs, however GD/PI is necessary for non-technical degrees. State-level and national admission tests, like JEE and CUET are also taken into consideration by the institution. There are more than 25 full-time courses offered in a variety of fields, including engineering, design, and law. Candidates for PhD programs must take an in-house entrance test and PI in addition to the online application procedure.

NIU’s admissions process involves an online application and submission of necessary documents and application fees through your convinced platform. AIU certification, CUET counseling letter, transfer/migration certificate (if any), Class 10/SSC mark sheet, “O” level certificate or equivalent, 10+2/Intermediate mark sheet, “A” level certificate or equivalent for undergraduate and postgraduate courses, graduation or equivalent mark sheet for doctoral courses, Aadhar Card (for Nationals), and four recent passport-size photos are required of applicants. Transcripts in languages other than English or Hindi are not allowed.

If applicants are unable to submit documents, they can send them through email as well. The applicant’s registered email address will receive a schedule for the entrance exam and GD/PI. The applicant should get in touch with the admissions office if their application is not received within three working days.

Students must pay the semester or yearly fee immediately to reserve their spot. Less than the required semester fee is not refundable or transferable. A security deposit can be refundable after the training. If the student passes the test or meets the requirements, they are advised to pay the remaining sum within 15 days.

The scholarships are based on the merit basis from 15-100% while freedom fighter scholarship/ defence scholarship/ disability scholarship/ employee scholarship/ sibling scholarship/ alumni scholarship is 20%. The sport scholarship ranks from 10- 100% for national & international athletes.
